That's not what I meant. I was addressing your point that God is a thought. If that is true, who's thought is he? And if God is a thought, and we are God's thoughts, how does that work exactly? This is all in relation to what you said here: "God itself may be a thought in Theta" 1

Or like attempting to reconcile the LDS concept that God is in a specific locality, with God's omnipresence as described in the 88th Section of the Doctrine and Covenants, verses 7-13 and 41: “He is in the sun, and the light of the sun, and the power thereof by which it was made. “As also he is in the moon, and is the light of the moon, and the power thereof by which it was made; “As also the light of the stars, and the power thereof by which they were made; “And the earth also, and the power thereof, even the earth upon which you stand. “And the light which shineth, which giveth you light, is through him who enlighteneth your eyes, which is the same light that quickeneth your understandings; “Which light proceedeth forth from the presence of God to fill the immensity of space— “The light which is in all things, which giveth life to all things, which is the law by which all things are governed, even the power of God who sitteth upon his throne, who is in the bosom of eternity, who is in the midst of all things. “He comprehendeth all things, and all things are before him, and all things are round about him; and he is above all things, and in all things, and is through all things, and is round about all things; and all things are by him, and of him, even God, forever and ever.” (emphasis manol's) My theory is that God is a pan-dimensional being (or super-being), existing in all dimensions in harmony with the reality operative in that dimension. And I think the Theta field described by @Bassil is one of these dimensions, presumably one where space and time as we understand them do not exist. And I think the same can be said of us (within the limitations of our current state of development), our awareness of such being deliberately and temporarily constrained by the Veil. And earth-life being sort of like going to the gym, in that we're here to develop muscles we normally would not be able to work on, at least not nearly as intensely. Well I see it simply. His INTELLIGENCE / perception, light, etc captures what's happening anywhere. Like watching soccer. You see the guy coming up on the left before the kicker may notice an opportunity to send the ball to him. Relatively you can see the "whole game" without leaving your seat. You are THERE. And then we add a live show from across the world, and suddenly our intelligence is "there" from our easy chair! THAT to me is like how the spirit/ light of Christ penetrates space and time. He is "everywhere" at once because his intelligence/ awareness illuminates every corner of his creations continually.

For us God is eternal because God imagined the existence as infinite. For us existence has no boundaries, never ends, because God imagined it that way. Therefore, the creator of the infinite is infinite.

Sense of perception as described by EE Doc Smith in the Lensman Series (though more expansive as it would include color as we experience, etc). The stronger the sense is, the further and deeper the perception. The infinite version would be equivalent to omnipresence in terms of awareness, but not necessarily being able to act at that distance. Quote [Kinnison] "I have often wished that I could have your sense of perception, if only for a day. It must be wonderful indeed to be able to perceive a thing as a whole, inside and out, instead of having vision stopped at its surface, as is ours. And to be independent of light or darkness, never to be lost or in need of instruments; to know definitely where you are in relation to every other object or thing around you--that, I think, is the most marvelous sense in the Universe." [Tregonsee] "Just as I have wished for sight and hearing, those two remarkable and to us entirely unexplainable senses. I have dreamed, I have studied volumes, on color and sound. Color in art and in nature; sound in music and in the voices of loved ones; but they remain meaningless symbols upon a printed page. However, such thoughts are vain. In all probability neither of us would enjoy the other's equipment if he had it, and this interchange is of no material assistance to you." https://www.google.com/books/edition/The_Ultimate_E_E_Smith_Collection/xvKbEAAAQBAJ?hl=en&gbpv=1&dq="must+be+wonderful+indeed+to+be+able+to+perceive+a+thing+as+a+whole,+inside+and+out,+instead+of+having+vision+stopped+at+its+surface"&pg=PT631&printsec=frontcover The whole book appears to be online: https://www.gutenberg.org/files/68815/68815-h/68815-h.htm Edited August 22, 2023 by Calm
