I like learning about the diversity of beliefs within the world of faithful members of the church. It seems the church (LDS)hierarchy is not as controlling of thought as many non-LDS Christians believe it to be. I have learned that here. 2. I want a place where it is OK to help my LDS-Christian friends understand that a similar degree of diversity of beliefs and attitudes exists among non-LDS Christians - evangelicals and even modern-day fundamentalists. 4

I like that it is a place where people actively share their ideas regarding the gospel and the Church, whatever their ideas on those issues may be. I've seen less active and more restrictive boards where not much of that is happening. 2. I want the board to be and remain less restrictive to people who want to share their ideas. I want the content of the board to be focused on the content of each person's message, rather than on individual characteristics of the person sharing a message. I think that as long as everyone is civil to others in their manner of speaking, not blatantly rude or focused on individual characteristics, everyone should be free and feel free to share their messages regarding the gospel and the Church, or "Mormonism".
