The "something" being how civil lawsuits filed in federal court work? Actually, I know quite a bit about that. I've been a lawyer for 16 years now, and have participated in many dozens of such lawsuits. I won't claim to be impartial. I'm a big fan of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. However, I wouldn't do it or its members any favors by mischaracterizing or misrepresenting the legal circumstances in which the Church is situated. I prefer to focus on the substantive legal merits of the lawsuit, which are very much lacking. As for the motives of the plaintiffs, I think I understand them, but I prefer to not publicly disclose my surmises. I am open to correction. On 4/18/2020 at 11:41 AM, Jeff Wangsgard said: I'm not here to defend the lawsuit...it is in very capable hands. I don't think so. I think the lawsuit is very poorly drafted, and is essentially guaranteed to be dismissed in the very near future. There. I've put down my marker.
