Speaking as a deranged Sunday School teacher, I'm with snowflake and Nehor on this topic - not believing most of what you hear and read today is more likely to help you reach an accurate view of reality - as opposed to believing the grounded adherents, complete with their unreliable, invalidated, peer-skimmed/reviewed studies.

The reality that he is coarse, stupid, ignorantly self-confident, corrupt, uses the playbook of a dictator, is undermining the institutions of democracy by undermining all faith in them, and has really stupid hair.....those are what worry me. A dictator? I had a four year mission of being posted on theEast German boarder, due the the present (then) dictatorship of communism, and a Nation divided due to the actions of a dictator, where no such comments would be allowed to be spoken, and saying so would lead to death. Maybe a history book would help? 3

He wants the instruments of state to crush his enemies, he expects agencies that should be aloof from politics to protect him and attack his enemies, and he demonizes all press coverage that is not favorable to him. Fortunately the instruments and institutions of our government have so far largely successfully resisted this autocratic dogma.

The Clintions have left more dead bodies in their wake, than any "Husband wife team to ever enter politics ". Our former "Commander in Chief". "I have a phone and a pin", (yes, that guy) was any less someone who wanted up to undermine every American institution, with Law-Enforment of every kind in his cross hairs, every waking moment of his day. A goal he still seeks to achieve, calling for riots, "occupy Wall Street", yes his and George Soros brainchild, the same man who was a "Hitler Youth", and the same anti-Semite, as was and is Obama, who wish for the destruction of Israel, both with their desire of the complete undermining of Law-Enforcement in his own home town. So, we are seen by many here as well as those "clinging to their guns and religion"? Let me help you out, the fact that you nor I am in consentation camps or dead, due to our comments, is because we have no pretended dictators, or real ones in the Nation, nor anything approaching it. It is why today, you can't murder Mormons anymore, or drive them from their homes as in the past. This because no matter the occupant of the Whitehouse, our laws, or checks and balances make it impossible. Again, it would seem I have greater faith in our Nation, and our elected leaders that yourself. 2

You know, the reality is that many of our leaders, on both sides of the aisle, have been all that which you accuse, and more, but the difference was that their every word wasn't repeated by a media insistent upon making it obvious. John Kennedy was a drug-addled womanizer, even while in the White House and Lyndon Johnson was a crass racist who cynically used the civil rights movement to increase his power. But without the media blaring their faults to the winds, who knew? And I recall very clearly how those on the right said exactly the same things in regard to dictatorship and undermining democracy about both Clinton and Obama, and were just as unjustified. Your current target is distinctive in not giving a fig what people say about him, and he just lets it all hang out. As much as I don't particularly care for him, and didn't vote for him, I find that strangely refreshing. You are a fine man and I respect you greatly, The Nehor, but if you can only see the faults of those who are on the side you disfavor, you're just as ignorantly blind as those who see only what they want to see in those whom they favor. Should we perhaps leave off on the politics now? Surely arguing about religion is sufficiently divisive not to add the P word to the mix? 1

Just got some very bad news about this natural disaster and storm in gulf, and the death of someone close today, so whatever, this entire argument just became sooo unimportant. Life is just to short and too fragile to waste it doing this! So, I give. We here in the Southeast are just dealing with too much. Today, I could volunteer to help those I care about in the Carolinians, due to my disabilities, and too early, and now in some cases too late to help in Florida, Alabama and Georgia. I am unable to be of use to anyone I love and care about, in or out of the Church! Gotta go! Papa out!
