If someone needs ideas of how to prepare, maybe this will give you some: Quote Sisters~ For our council topic on the 14th we are going to use Pres. Nelson's framework from his talk, "Let Us All Press On" and apply it to this week's General Conference Sessions. The talk can be found here: https://www.lds.org/general-conference/2018/04/let-us-all-press-on?lang=eng Here are some guiding questions or homework as you prepare for the 14th. * Commit to praying about a question, trial, gospel topic, or just anything you need some additional help with. * Write it down * Listen for an answer in the amazing talks we will receive during General Conference * Write down quotes that really struck you- why? What are you actions steps around that quote? What is Heavenly Father trying to teach you? * Write down, doodle, draw, create a chart, graphic organizer, etc. however you make meaning of information. * Come willing to share what your experience was like. You do not have to share personal details but looking more at the process and what are your next steps. Because we need to ACT and not be acted upon. I just don't have any questions for which I don't have adequate answers or trials I don't know how to deal with by application of familiar gospel principles. I'm starting to feel really left out ... That's how I often felt with the scriptures for years. What about "What lack I?"
