Duncan Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 What happens if you go to the Temple and come to find out that your Recommend was never activated? besides getting livid, are the three signatures sufficient?
Calm Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 They probably have to check them since they could be forgeries...at least the last one. 1
Oliblish Posted February 21, 2018 Posted February 21, 2018 It happened to me once. I was stopped at the recommend desk but it was straightened out in about 10 minutes after a couple of phone calls. 3

Temple Recorder will chase down your bishop or member of the bishopric to confirm that you do, indeed, hold a current recommend. 2. You will be asked by the recorder or temple presidency member to provide a picture ID to verify you are who you say you are. 3. You will be admitted to the temple. 4. Because activating recommends is a stake function, when you return home, you will contact the responsible person (stake exec sec, clerk, or presidency member) with fire in your eye and malice in your soul and demand they do their dad-gum job, get on their computer, and activate your recommend. 5. You will then repent of your ill-will and thus be enabled to seamlessly use your recommend on your next visit. 7
