Storm Rider Posted February 17, 2018 Posted February 17, 2018 Duncan, I don't see them as a same thing. To me holiness is obtained by an advanced stage of spirituality. The more spiritual we are the more holy we become.

(IMO) Maybe so, but both are infused with the Holy Spirit, and perhaps we emphasize the holiness of the temple, whereas a person can be spiritual in a church setting -- a matter of semantics?
Five Solas Posted February 19, 2018 Posted February 19, 2018 Holiness means separateness. To say God is holy is to say God is separate from His creation, including all of us. How you can express belief in a holy God & in the next breath deny ex nihilo creation is -- well, it's a curious exercise. Spirituality is being atuned to spiritual matters (as opposed to material things). And this goes in different directions. The Bible admonishes us to "test the spirits" (1 John 4:1).
