PEC this last Sunday that as many as 10 missionaries would be coming to our stk in So. Cal.
Calm Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 It makes sense to evacuate them if the food and water that would feed them can go to someone else who can't go elsewhere. 1

So offer General Conference, I expect 2-4 new missionaries in my Ward. Chances are missionaries who only had a few months left, will probably go right home.
Calm Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 That would be very disappointing for most, I bet. Probably happy parents though.

The Nehor Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 It is hard to get relief in partially due to the Jones Act (suspend it for the duration Mr. President!!). There are several reasons the response has been anemic compared to Houston and Florida but they are excuses and should be dealt with. 1
