Jeanne Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Read this on a TV program while at the gym and loved it..just wanted to share. "If I fall, let me fall... The person I become will catch me" It was about overcoming obstacles and loss in life and dealing with it. 4
Calm Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 I needed that in my youth. My dad was always using "no need to reinvent the wheel", in other words "father knows best". I would argue I needed to learn my own way. 2

"The blind they see no colors, The deaf they hear no voice. Halt not by birth it seems, But rather so by choice". From the poem, "This Day". Thank God he has allowed me, not only to see the colors, but to write them. Thank God, he has granted me the gift to hear, and write what I hear. Thank God, I am not halt, nor handicapped. And Thank God I choose to see and listen. 1

With all the pitfalls in life...it is our senses that we learn from. I cannot hear..but I can listen. 2

Rather than trying to catch them all the time, metaphorically. 1
