missionaries came by today

Just wanted to be random, two sister missionaries came by today after I went running, had a nice chat them gave them girl scout cookies before they went on their way.  I somehow get the impression we were one of the nicer houses they visited.

I love it when I see them at my store and always seek them out for special treats or sales at the store.  Always interesting to find out where they are from and what they think of Utah.Just general conversations that let them know people care..They have a tough job here.  You were great...!

They (missionaries) experience so my negativity and rejection, and kind gesture will life their spirits.

It's disgusting how mean people here in the states can be, they're spending their own hard earned cash they've saved for since childhood and spending 2 years of their lives while their peers just party and get high, that's admirable.

Wait.....if I had stayed home I could have kept the money and spent the whole time partying and getting high? Why did no one tell me I had that option.

Now I have regrets.

I sure would have as a young adult, hell as an adult I know many who still would, sadly.
