I consider your post a flat contradiction to a direct statement I made about my own thought and belief, a subject on which I happen to be the world's foremost authority.

Okay.  Whatever works for you.

Thank you for that generous allowance, oh omniscient one.

Seriously?  You can't just let it go?

You know, this is how this could have gone - In response to my first post on this issue, you could have just said: "That's not the impression I meant to create, but going back and reading it again, I can see how someone might come away thinking that my professed disdain for an alleged "underground movement" would extend to the alleged members of said movement."

That would have ended it right there.  Instead, you respond with snark and condescension and everything is a fight.  Every.Damn.Thing.  Is that what you are truly here for?  To pick fights and make yourself feel good about "winning?"  Because, it sure looks like it from where I'm sitting.

So I need only cave in and genuflect to the wisdom of the omniscient one, and it would have "ended it right there."

Except, if past patterns are any indication, I doubt it would. There would have been something else I did that bothered you next week, or next month, something that required further genuflection and demonstration of abject remorse on my part.

How about taking me at my word when I said I view everyone as being precious in the sight of God? Couldn't that have "ended it right there"?

What was it you were saying about just letting it go?

You keep dragging me back in with some new snarky remark.  But, as I know it is your greatest desire to have the last word, I'll leave this as my last post on the matter and take my own advice.

I'll believe that when I see that no further passive-aggressive jab is forthcoming hereafter.

Aside from Ordain Women, are you aware of other organized attempts to change the church?

Haven't there been a number of petitions on certain things?

So, it doesn't matter that I say I believe all to be precious in the sight of God. ttribe the omiscient knows otherwise.

ttribe is a higher authority on what I think and believe than I am.

All hail ttribe!
