Last year's "Once I Was a Beehive" impressed me as rising above the more "normal" fare. 1
bluebell Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 Saratov was really good. The Cookeville Miracle was good, a bit cheesy but good. My absolutely favorite of all time is The Best Two Years. I haven't found a mormon movie that touches it yet in terms of good story telling and good actors. 1
Okrahomer Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 I really enjoyed The Best Two Years as well; maybe because Kirby Heyborne's drawling rendition of Dutch was not all that different from my own Okie-German--especially in the early days of my mission. Makes me laugh every time.
