Christmas celebrations today in church...

We had a lot of music by the ward choir, the congregation, and the Primary Children, followed by the spoken word. It was beautiful and inspirational. It did not include my personal carol, "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day" but the speaker included the history of it in his speech.

Thanks, Tacenda.

My ward did about the same thing.  Memorable to me was an organist's solo, no singing, but really brought in the spirit.  And I loved the separated choir singing one song each as all women and all men. The men sang a favorite Christmas song of mine, "Angels We Have Heard on High".

Did a series of songs (one sung by Primary, most by the choir) with short talks about various elements from the songs (I gave one) like Joseph, Mary, Shepherds, Wise Men, etc.

One thing is the Primary children came in at the end of Elder's Quorum to sing to us. Never seen it done before but it was nice.
