Question On Preexistence

Nothing in any of these verses detail the Mormon plan of salvation :)

Of course they do.

The plan of salvation is the fall and the atonement.  That is the plan of salvation.  It is all through the Book of Mormon.

What you may be referring to are the doctrines of exaltation, a very different issue.

And since traditional Christians don't believe in exaltation you won't recognize any evidence of it in any scripture.

Now try actually reading them. Don't just check the virulent anti-mormon websites.

You would be amazed at what the BoM actually says.

Hint: what I listed are not verses but chapters.

I would say the fall and atonement are quite clear in the BIBLE :) and neither book has Mormon version

Where in the Book of Mormon does it teach the pre-existence

Helaman 14:17

17 But behold, the resurrection of Christ redeemeth mankind, yea, even all mankind, and bringeth them back into the presence of the Lord.

That's it :) that could mean almost anything ? are you basing your teaching on obscure verse :)

I remember when this thread used to be fun and on topic.

Holy Catholic is hijacking most threads right now and flooding the board.  If he keeps this up we all know what the result will be.

No twisting needed. Just plain speech. It means exactly what it says.

Where in the Book of Mormon does it teach the pre-existence

BoM indeed from the very first chapter teaches the great (and erroneously clasified today by catholicism as heresy) doctrine of pre-existence of humankind. Mormon restore a key doctrine again.

In fact 1st Nephi teaches about The pre-existence of the Twelve Apostles. BoM say they dwelt in heaven, came down with premortal Jesus and be with him while he ministers to Father Lehi:

"[Lehi] saw One descending out of the midst of heaven and he beheld that his luster was above that of the sun at noon-day. And he also saw twelve others following him and their brightness did exceed that of the stars in the firmament. And they came down and went forth upon the face of the earth; and the first came and stood before my father..." (1 Nephi 1:9-11)

And Jesus, now in mortality, ratifies the pre-existence of them with him:

"Ye have been with me from the beginning" (John 15:27)
