Mina is the coolest cat. Her story is just inspiring. One of these days I'll tell the story of Mina in the Social Hall.Anywhack, us Catholics have these really cool laws that are called discernment of spirits whereby you can identify whence a prompting derives. Three sources in no particular order: 1) The Dark Lord, 2) The Lord, 3) Ourselves... St. Ignatius of Antioch (oh shoot...edited to say Loyola not Antioch), founder of the Jesuits gave some really sensible ideas about this. If I understand correctly, most stuff comes from ourselves...Heh...we are so goofy that the devil (Dark Lord) can frequently happily leave us alone with out crazy imaginations.I was trying to upload a photo of my dog and replace the kitty one. But it was too big, and in the process lost the kitty avatar. I'll have to figure it out one of these days so I can show off my dog! I think we had a thread on cats somewhere, can't wait to hear about Mina.

I want to hear Mina's story also... but... in the Social Hall I won't be able to argue with you... MY cat is the smartest, most beautiful... perhaps even more cool than Mina Don't even get me started on how very smart Bobby-cat is... seriously, I do marvel at him at times. I think when it's a one on one situation like with Bob and me that a real special bond and communication develops. The way he is so vocal, all the funny little things he does (like he doesn't like me to talk on the phone and so he runs in the kitchen and starts opening the cupboards to get my attention, etc).I'm going to try and figure out how to post a picture... I used to do it with emails... and I'll post a picture of Bob. He really is a beauty... mainly white with irregular black back and patches. He weighs close to 20 lbs and is 24" from the top of his head to where he tail begins. GG

Lack of tone and facial expression probably account for most of the 'fighting' that occurs on the Internet and this place is not much of an exception. Once you get to know the posters better, it'll be way easier to figure out what they mean. And to help you get started, it's usually safe not to take anything that The Nehor says too seriously.
