Duncan Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 (edited) in the early to mid 1980's my brother and I watched a movie about this American Soldier from the 1800's. It was about this soldier who was with a group of other soldiers and somehow they got massacred and he escaped. The movie was about him overcoming all these obastacles like a bear attack and he set up a some kind of a cactus trap and he killed a Native American. He saw a lizard and bit the head off and sucked out the innerds. The final scene was of this soldier running towards a fort and he was being chased by a Native American and this soldier at the fort was aiming to hit the Native but instead shot this soldier in the forehead. i am guessing it came out in the 60's to the well early mid 80's. it wasn't 'Man in the Wilderness' from 1971 Edited October 10, 2013 by Duncan
strappinglad Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 (edited) I vaguely remember a scene like you present. The guy running toward the fort is shot. No idea as to the title. Was it a spaghetti western ? Maybe one of these will jog your memory http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Cavalry_Western_films Edited October 10, 2013 by strappinglad

strappinglad Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 What is Spaghetti Western? Oh, you know the type. Where one cowboy would throw another cowboy against a wall to see if he would stick . They were westerns filmed by Italian companies in Spain. Clint Eastwood did a few memorable ones. 1

Calm Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 (edited) Mr Eastwood is Italian?No...at least not that I am aware of....he was just a popular choice for such Westerns. That genre made his name in movies....and made the 'spaghetti western' an iconic part of movie history, imo. http://www.spaghetti-western.net/index.php/Clint_Eastwood Edited October 10, 2013 by calmoriah
