Mormon Apologists Gather, But Not To Apologize

Daniel Peterson

Recommended Posts

"Socrates was not apologizing for his actions," Peterson said. "He was defending and explaining them using reason and logic."

Which is precisely the objective of the religious apologist.

Does this provide room for the Holy Ghost?

The testimony of the Holy Ghost should be the base (IMO) for any LDS apologetics. Elsewise, the LDS apologetic may just become an ex-apologetic and and ex-mormon. This has happened more than once.

It appears you didn't finish reading the article. It specifically states needing a confirmation of the Holy Ghost and about apologetics it states;
You need to have a testimony that stands on its own, regardless of what anyone else says.
