Some of you post there so you can see for yourself the accolades RussB is receiving for hacking into the Church system and doing so…this of course verifying stories that non-members and apostates are doing this to embarrass the Church. This in turn gives them the 15 mins of fame they desire. I fear they will suffer more than 15 mins for their actions. To be “FAIR” he says he removed the names…”after their submissions”, so he is only slightly dishonest. LOLThen he posted the link to the Church website so others could join in on the fun. Having used this website I know you have to use your membership number.I would like to say I am surprised, but this is a guy who moved across the country to live in SLC so he could spend his evenings “witnessing” at Temple Square. He took a job that would give him his evenings free to do so; then begs (point of record at this website) for money to attend Mormon events too “witness”. I once asked why he did not get a part-time job to finance these trips, he replied that what he does at Temple Square” is his part-time job.
Saints Alive Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 I'm not convinced he has actually hacked into new family search or if he is just saying that he has for his 15 min of fame, we all know that some anti(s) can be less than scrupulous at times. The church should really be able to track who submits a name and I am still not sure why you are able to submit name outside of your family pedigree. If there is a spot on your family tree you can put a name there if not why do you need to submit the name?
Storm Rider Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Pops, this is really of no value. Attention, both positive and negative doesn't matter, is what is desired by these types. Just ignore them and go about doing good to your fellow man. This type of dishonesty deserves no notice from us or anyone else. Let them handle it when they face God; it is only between them anyway. That is my not so humble opinion.
