Bill “Papa” Lee Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 I stumbled across an old book today called, “Temple Manifestations”. In the book I read had a number of accounts of the dedication of the Salt Lake Temple. Many mentioned seeing BY, JT and others who had passed. Three different accounts mentioned Hyrum Smith; have not seen one yet where Joseph is mentioned. I would be interested if anyone has more stories of that day in 1893. Just seems odd??
Bill “Papa” Lee Posted February 22, 2012 Author Posted February 22, 2012 Back with the wife and kids in Nauvoo?Could be...but In Utah Hyrum's Family were the first family.
mfbukowski Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 (edited) So now we are supposed to conclude that Joseph did not approve of the SLC Temple because no one told a ghost story about seeing his ghost at the dedication?Really?I could write up one if you like. I think I had a dream of him being there once. Edited February 22, 2012 by mfbukowski
Damien the Leper Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Joseph Smith doesn't have, to my knowledge, any working relationship with the SLC temple. Whether he approved or disapproved after his death is also irrelevant.
