I've always thought the comparison Jesus makes between a rich man entering the kingdom of God and trying to shove a camel through the eye of a needle is absolutely hysterical.

Jesus is the God of the Old Testament. In Numbers there's the story about a man named Balaam, who kept hitting his donkey with a stick. Suddenly "the Lord opened the mouth of the ***" and the donkey started talking to Balaam, asking why he keeps hitting him. That must have been quite a surprise to Balaam and quite a commical scene that God created, using a talking donkey to get his attention(Numbers 22:21-34).

Balaam's response cracks me up: "If I had a sword right now, I'd kill you."

Years ago, Pres Monson, then a serving with Pres Hinkley, said that God must have a sense of humor. How else would we have gotten the giraffe?
