Temple In France!

This is very interesting. I thought the issue with a Temple in France was that the French Constitution requires all buildings to be open to the public.

I had heard that too but I don't know anything more about it

Probably made an agreement as has been done in other countries where the government officials are given access to special rooms of the temple where they can be and not have to mingle with the normal rabble or some such>

I thought I had heard they changed the law but I'm not sure. It sounds like the issue is finding an appropriate location.

This is interesting because at our recent Stake Conference, the visiting GA opened it up for questions and somone asked about why no temple in France yet. The answer was that temples were wanted in several locales but certain governments where not willing or cooperative enough for that to happen.

I look around the world and see a lot of places that have a definate need and they have none or just one. I have no doubt that the brethren know about it and it seems the Temple Dept. are working behind the scenes to do whatever needs to be done.
