blackstrap Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 Probably made an agreement as has been done in other countries where the government officials are given access to special rooms of the temple where they can be and not have to mingle with the normal rabble or some such>

BCSpace Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 This is interesting because at our recent Stake Conference, the visiting GA opened it up for questions and somone asked about why no temple in France yet. The answer was that temples were wanted in several locales but certain governments where not willing or cooperative enough for that to happen.

I have no doubt that the brethren know about it and it seems the Temple Dept. are working behind the scenes to do whatever needs to be done.
