The class that will launch a 1,000,000 threads; won’t be dull.The LDS Church is not a conservative church except perhaps politically (and that only in the US) and I highly doubt it is the most conservative church in the world. I suppose it could also be called socially conservative with its emphasis on the traditional form of the family, etc.In fact, theologically speaking the LDS faith could be considered a liberal one due in part to the idea of an open canon and continuing revelation.

I think the LDS Church is a conservative church in many ways, but agree with you that it is not the most conservative church in the world, as our friend suggested. Anyway, I think it's pretty "kewl" that people are taking an academic interest in Mormonism.

I guarentee you it will be salacious.A rather strange guarantee to make, since the school with the program is GTU, not UC Berkeley. Moreover, the courses are currently being taught in the local institute building.
