To some extent then you seem to be not of the mainstream evangelica doctrine. I have been told repeatly taht all I need to do is beleive and I will be saved. And once I am saved I cannot fall from grace. But I am glad we can agree on this. I tire of the disagreements.

That's a very reasonable attitude to take. Would that those outside of Mormonism would have a comparably reasonable attitude pertaining to LDS efforts pursuant to salvation for others, including the deceased (see my sig line).

A poster came in swinging at me halfway through a thread. I asked him to get caught up on his own and said I wasn't going to do a recap for "every schmeckel that comes in late in the game." I knew about no disability (it's evidently temporary), but it's really irrelevant.

I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you. The poster responded several times to the Carmella name and never said it didn't belong so, I'd tend to believe it was Carmella. I'm sure the mods will deal with it in any case.

The questions I asked did not call for a violation of board guidelines. To reiterate, I didn't know the "demeaning name" had reference to a thread on the other board. I thought it was something earlier in this thread.

However, I think most have just gone over to CARM to read what they want to read there, rather than asking anyone to cross post.

Again, I wasn't asking anyone to cross post (see above). I've never visited CARM, and I don't have any desire to do so, least wise to poke around over there to find answers to questions that could easily be responded to here.
