What if an angel came down and told you that the LDS church was true and God has called you to join.3. What if God himself cam down with Jesus Christ and said "this is my Son Jesus Christ and you shall join his church which is the LDS church?What would you do.

That was someone else.I distinguish a difference between a church claiming to be the "true church" and love being "true love." Perhaps you don't, which is your prerogative.But a church like the LDS Church has foundational a claim to be the true and authentic Church of Jesus Christ. It bases its entire existence on that claim.

You will not find any official doctrine in which we speculate exactly what happens in the hereafter. All we know is that we will be WITH God, that we will be joint heirs with Christ, and we will HOPEFULLY be at His right hand. We do not speculate that we will be making planets, having "spirit babies", or anything other than that. That has been the church's position since the very beginning. So which is it Boniface?

I would trust in the Lord and follow further revelations of what His tast for me would be to complete.

You must have forgotten to let the spirt confirm everything else with the LDS church, why would it all of a sudden aply when you cam into your church. How can you have that much knowledge and that much of an understanding of Gods truth without the spirit manifesting it to you? or did the spirit manifest it to you. Just wondering. I do not need to confirm anything with the LDS church. I do not think the LDS church is true.Additionally, you completely missed why I asked if you would believe that George Washington walked on the moon if the spirit confirmed it. Maybe you'll get this one: What if a Muslim felt a confirmation from the Spirit that he should blow himself up in a crowded mall?Benji

Exactly like LDS. Yes you are right... the only place I know of that "Ruling other planets" and "spirit babies" is talked about is in Doctrines of Salvation by JFS. (Note the non-Cacnonical source) I have seen the idea in extra cannonical Catholic/Jewish writtings as well. Which according to Boniface is just "speculation" that they don't actual do!?

This is exactly why God has not manifested to you the truthfulness of the LDS church. It is because you would not except it if he did. I encourage you from the heart to pray tonight and try to ask the Lord to help you do have the desire to rely on Him no matter what it shall be. You really need to recieve that third step of advice that I gave you before you can receive or except His witness. Please do. First, I would never pray about whether Mormonism is true because it contradicts what God had already revealed in the bible long before JS was even born. Nothing could ever convince me to accept that the LDS church is true because its teachings clearly contradict what is taught in the Bible. It preaches a false gospel which Paul warned against in Galations:Galatians 1:8But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!Also, Peter warned against false prophets. It is amazing how close his definition fits Joseph Smith:2 Peter 2:1-3But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. When Jesus fulfilled the law on the cross, it completely changed everything. Jesus brought peace and suffered the penalty that we all deserve.Benji
