He turned 68 in October, and will qualify for emeritus status in another year and a half. Of the current 15, the oldest at the time of their call was Elder Cook, who was 67 years, 1 month. I won't say never; the Lord can call anyone He wants or needs. But if I'm gonna stay in the irreverant business of short-listing General Authorities, I'm gonna screen future predictions by age. 3
