bluebell Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 My 18 year old fell asleep while driving last night on the interstate and rolled his car three times. He's ok. The car only has liability so there's no salvaging it at this point. However, three days earlier a guy sideswiped him in town and the other insurance agreed it was their guy's fault. They were going to send out their adjuster some time this week after he got a couple estimates to get that taken care of. My question is, does that other guy (his insurance) still have to pay that claim even though the car has been totaled in a different wreck?
blackstrap Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 Do you have written estimates for the first accident? If not , you might not get much compensation. 1

rpn Posted June 8, 2023 Posted June 8, 2023 Yes, but if you didn't take your own photos of the damage then you might have a hard time getting any settlement. If you do have your own photos (preferably time stamped) then make copies to give the adjuster).
