It is a private message you can reply to or a red message that pops up at the top every now and again? Happens to me too, when I'm gone for long. I assume it's a spammed message to everyone, and reappears when you log in.

The "big red bar" at the top of the screen that says "Seriously No Politics" and when you click on it, it says "Knock It Off.  I really am tired of the same people shoving politics into topics" and has a date of April 1, 2020?  Everyone sees that.  You can dismiss it but it comes back every now and then.
