Spooky story I'll share, before death I've heard people say they saw floating things in front of them, voices etc. My father claimed a whole bunch of people were having a party on the porch then they just vanished. Anyway, with a ouija board older me would think twice. Do I really want to summon something terrifying? All the bad people end up somewhere when they die, why would I want to risk summoning something that malevolent?

Invite ghosts and demons to communicate with me? They come around me sometimes whether or not I summon or invite or welcome them to come near me. Unseen things can rom about, doesn't mean I want them to notice me. True, to them it's real. Still, it is spooky when you see enough of this stuff. Yep, that too. I've heard creepy stories, think those of us who've fooled around with these things all do. I agree, we can all benefit from encountering evil and as you said, why it isn't good. Will admit, the inner 12 year old still finds these things interesting. 1

Her cousin had a very close relationship with him and lived with him for a time. He was like a father to him. Her cousin was not a member of the church. He didn't share what they talked about, but this experience led her cousin to call the missionaries and he was baptized shortly after.

Seeing the bitter die is always something, reminds me of when my father was on the way out. His siblings are on the way out as well, whatever children they had are either dead from drugs or are just as rotten and cruel as they were. I've heard stories of people who saw someone they knew for a few moments then they vanished. They had just died. This is partially why I lay off that stuff, you have no idea who you may invite over. Not sure how hell works with you guys, if it's like the trinitarians or not. For me, I take the Buddhist take which is far, far more terrifying yet oddly enough fair. Terrifying thing for a wicked person, they die and end up a "hungry ghost". It's not so much hungry in the physical sense, it's more like a madness that results from a violent death or if you were quite wicked. Hungry ghost - Wikipedia This is why most E.Asians who are still Buddhist or have ties to the culture visit family during Obon. We have this here, nothing like the ones in Hawaii and the west coast. Pretty much a foreign concept to people here I think, at least you guys care for your dead family and friends. I'd not gripe if I saw Jesus and he said someone dunked me after I died, at least someone cared enough.
