That's true, stuff out there is quite different. CBD works for you? My understanding is there's no thc in it.

I'm skiddish about it, supposedly some places sell it with trace amounts of THC in it. I'm looking at it for help with anxiety and sleep.
Calm Posted February 23, 2021 Posted February 23, 2021 (edited) It is medical cannabis I get from an Utah state approved dispensary, Deseret Wellness...which I so far highly recommend. The company is Zions Pharmaceuticals, I don’t think they are available online. Given how weird my body and mind are with medications, I need to be able to trust I am getting the same quality and quantity each time. I have discovered even a small “high” or thought looping or whatever it is called can trigger a panic attack for me that I have to work hard at to control. And while a small dose (under 5 mg) THC gives me a great sleep without the looping, so far I feel like I am more irritable or angry the next day...it could be too much negative, uncertain stuff hanging out in my head right now. I think I am getting a 20 mg dose of CBD from the tincture. I take that for breakthrough rls right now mainly. And here I thought weed would be fun. It is, I think, going to take discipline to force myself into a sleep schedule...unfortunately this time of year apathy is massive and the cannabis adds to that. If I didn’t have vertigo, I would be down there having massive talks with the pharmacist on the ins and outs of cannabis use, but my husband is my chauffeur and errand boy, and just don’t feel right taking up so much of his time (once Covid is done, hoping my grandson and maybe a kid in the ward will take over the job for some easy money so I can start going to the pool almost daily). Doing a little bit more experimenting before hitting the dispensary again. What I really need is a nanny to feed me good, tasty food and nag me to move and drive me to doctor’s appts to figure out all the numerous little other things that mystify the specialists so they won’t touch it. For some reason no one wants the job. Edited February 23, 2021 by Calm

For some reason no one wants the job. Huh, noted thanks. Marijuana can be quite anxiety inducing. I'll share a bit, big difference being with high school buddies stoned out of your mind playing video games vs. Dealing with the stresses of adulthood. Read up on strains, indica is the way to go for sleep/anxiety relief. Not all edibles are created equal. I'm all for cannabis medicine, my hope is people keep partaking here and other countries keep doing research on it. That's partially why I want to go abroad eventually to work, I'm not a pothead but this country's failed war on drugs and big pharma corruption makes me sick. If someone has problems I'd rather go with the lesser of two evils, synthetic opiates and psyche meds scare me. Lol, careful with having a kid from your ward be an errand boy, he may consume it all... 1

Will toss this out there, marijuana was used as a meditation aid in China. Confucianism kinda ruined that though, Confucius sure was a stickler... Entheogenic use of cannabis - Wikipedia 1
