In case anyone's interested in the progress of the Gaddy class action lawsuit against the Church filed last year, you can listen to the upcoming hearing:

"We have received notice of a new hearing date for argument on the Motion to Dismiss the Amended Complaint (AC). The AC alleges specific instances demonstrating that COP did not believe what it has historically taught about LDS origins. The date for the hearing is January 5, 2021 at 1:30 p.m., via Zoom. We have had many individuals ask whether they can listen during the hearing. Was this the amended complaint that was pretty much identical to the first complaint?

This is pretty funny. Didn't know about this one.

I love the motion to supplement the amended complaint. Apparently, there's been a breaking development in the case. Burningham advises the court that she discovered a "social media thread" that described "a lead or metal printing plate that had been in the church’s custody and control since the plate’s creation in 1842" that was used to print Facsimile #3 in the Book of Abraham, and that "ostensible former LDS Book of Abraham apologist, Paul Osborne, has taken the plate, first published in the hard bound Volume 4 of the Joseph Smith Papers on October 30, 2018 and blown up figure 6 to reveal what appears to be the scraping off of the metal at a location where Anubis’ snout would have been."
