Maybe that's the reason for the Second Commandment. Instead of worshipping the Father and the Son, we worship whatever image we have created for them in our minds? I think the underlying concern for most is that they cling to the Catholic* notion that sex with a wife would somehow disqualify Him as sinless. I've heard some say that his children would then be "demi-gods," but this also doesn't follow. His children would simply be 100% mortal; they wouldn't somehow be "part immortal." They weren't recognized as God in the pre-existence, foreordained, Firstborn spirits, top intelligence, etc. He would simply be the father of their temporal bodies. *Gnostic, really, with the teachings of physical=evil; spirit/ineffable=good; hence, the goal is to free oneself of all of the taint of the physical. There are echoes of this in the Catholic case for celibate clergy. Righto, Rongo!

There are multiple clues in the Bible that suggests He was gay. Both what is said and what is not said. Individual people and religion as a whole projects into scripture what they want to believe. There is an estimated 21,000 Christian religions in the world today. All of them claim to have the scriptures at the foundation of their beliefs. Yet, interpretation of those scriptures are as varied as the number of denominations that exist.
