My wife got the idea when she heard the MoTabs sing it at general conference. It is beautiful. I hope you won't mind if I lapse into a bit of vernacular here: Cool! Here; I'll spice it up a bit and make it sound a bit less like vernacular by using my second language: íChévere! I'm actually looking forward to watching it when I get home. Daniel2 Posted August 21, 2017 Posted August 21, 2017 (edited) One of my all-time favorites (just about any version is phenomenal, but especially those featuring violins and other string and woodwind instruments get me every time): And my hubby listens to his favorite at least once a week, if not more often---yes, ALL year long, EVERY week... and I LOVE that it still brings tears to his eyes EVERY time: Edited August 21, 2017 by Daniel2 2

(You can't go wrong with "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing"! ha)

They are awesome. 1
RevTestament Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 I believe I sang this about 30 years ago. Our director really liked John Rutter, and he made me like him.
RevTestament Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 Another very nice arrangement by John Rutter - this one performed by MTab
RevTestament Posted August 27, 2017 Posted August 27, 2017 Seems like we may have sung this too: If not, we definitely performed the Prayers of Kiekegaard - seems like Rutter may have take a cue from this song composed by Barber:
RevTestament Posted August 31, 2017 Posted August 31, 2017 A rare performance at the Provo Tabernacle before it burned and became the City Center Temple.
RevTestament Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 (edited) This song was performed at conference today, and I realized how much I like it, so I searched one, and lo and behold, when I start the very first one, there is a member of my ward right there - before our ward recently was reorganized. P.S. If you can pick him out, I will give you extra credit... Edited October 1, 2017 by RevTestament
RevTestament Posted October 2, 2017 Posted October 2, 2017 No extra credit for anyone His name is Dale.

Kenngo1969 Posted October 3, 2017 Posted October 3, 2017 I haven't seen anyone post this one yet. (If I missed it, please pardon the duplication.) Be Thou My Vision, sung by Nathan Pacheco.
