The other event that opens the Temple to all symbolically, is the story of the feeding of the 5,000 and 4,000. In the Temple the priests offer food to God, a divine meal if you like. Jesus as Messiah, Lord and Master shares a meal with the people out in the open. Men, women and children. 1
