JLHPROF Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Just now, Gray said: The people who currently hold the most senior callings in the church. Women can hold priesthood. Just not in the Church. Perhaps if we resumed teaching about Queens and Priestesses it would make this issue go away. Nah...because it's not priesthood they really want. It's equality in all things (a false notion) and leadership power. 2

In the church as it currently stands, leadership is joined at the waist with priesthood. The Church as an organization runs the temples operationally and administratively. But the authority that performs the full temple ordinances are above the jurisdiction of even Apostolic priesthood offices. And some of our apostles fall into that category I would imagine. Those holding the fullness of the Melchizedek Priesthood are kings and priests of the Most High God, holding the keys of power and blessings. In fact, that priesthood is a perfect law of theocracy, and stands as God to give laws to the people, administering endless lives to the sons and daughters of Adam. – Joseph Smith Still, this is unlikely to be reimplemented in the Church administrative structure any time soon so until it is most female members don't even know that becoming a priestess is a goal to work towards. (Which they should if they pay attention in the initiatory).

I don't mind it there in the least. That's not bad. I have seen many protesters right on the sidewalk bothering people. To me that is rude and uncalled for. 1
