Will people who find the gospel hard be judged differently to those who find it easy? And is eye-contact a good measure of worthiness

Elder Bednar has, perhaps, been frank and forthright at times.  I think that's part of what it means to be an Apostle of the Lord, Jesus Christ. However, unlike you, apparently, I don't think that the fact that one delivers frank and forthright messages means, ipso facto and res ipsa loquitur, that he necessarily lacks compassion.  Indeed, he may deliver such messages precisely because he has a great deal of care and concern for those at whom they are directed.
