And Tommy doesn't know what day it is.
 Doesn't know who Jesus was or what praying is.
 How can he be saved?
 From the eternal grave.

 Surrounded by his friends he sits so silently,
 And unaware of everything.
 Playing poxy pin ball
 picks his nose and smiles and
 Pokes his tongue at everything.
 I believe in love
 but how can men who've never seen
 Light be enlightened.
 Only if he's cured
 will his spirits future level ever heighten.

All pinball wizards are saved...

(sorry I couldn't get rid of an "added formatting" message on the prior post)

From John 3:13
13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.

Ouranos = heaven

Luke 23:43
43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
Moroni 10:34
34 And now I bid unto all, farewell. I soon go to rest in the paradise of God, until my spirit and body shall again reunite, and I am brought forth triumphant through the air, to meet you before the pleasing bar of the great Jehovah, the Eternal Judge of both quick and dead. Amen.

paradeisos = paradise
To my knowledge the scriptures never speak of this spirit paradise as heaven.

its threads like this that make me wonder if formerlds ever really was lds. I can't imagine anyone who truly was as being so ignorant that they don't know that we teach that we are saved because of Jesus Christ. Or so ignorant of the book of Mormon that they don't realize it is inviting the reader to come to Christ on every solitary page

I am glad that they have found Jesus Christ as their Savior, but it is significant that they say they could not find him in the Church or they accuse us of never teaching about Jesus.  I can only conclude that they wanted to find Jesus, but not the whole Jesus - just a tiny part of him, but one they could believe in.  If it works for them, great, but leaving the Church does not indicate they actually understood anything we teach or that was taught.
