The question in no way indicates that most LDS believe that religion defines all morality. It uses the term "most", not "only" for looking for guidance on questions. Add-on: the correction is not much better. There is in my opinion, a difference between looking for guidance about questions on right and wrong which often could be wondering what is the best expression of a moral code created by one's general society, not one's faith community...like how can one effectively support and respect free speech and actually defining morality, by which I am assuming you mean determining morals code for individuals...for which most come from the larger society we live in, such as respecting free speech is seen as moral in the US and other countries though expression of what that is may vary. For LDS respect for such would include placing limitations to respect some other moral issues, like allowing one's home and by extension local community to limit speech some to avoid usage of vulgarity, avoiding protests and disturbances around sacred places, for our own and others, etc. Edited December 20, 2015 by Calm

I believe SSM is wrong from a religious standpoint and I see it wrong from a historical and cultural standpoint. My religion does not establish all my moral views as I can have moral views outside of it but it does fine tune my moral views more clearly and gives it more meaning. 2
