Webb Vs. Gaskill On Apostolic Succession

You wouldn't go to Patriarch Bartholomew to learn about Mormonism anymore than you would go to Nibley or Monson about what constitutes valid and authoritative Eastern Orthodox doctrine and theology.

 

I'm skeptical of Nibley because a lot of his research is flawed, not because he's not Orthodox himself. He has published peer-review in that area.

 

Webb is Catholic and I consider relatively authoritative on Mormonism: This is his second book on our faith.
