Using The Missionaries For Ht/vt-Honest?

I disagree. If I am the Bishop or EQ President I care less about who is visiting the members and more who is not being visited at all and the record is supposed to help me figure out who may need help.

You are correct to want to know who has been visited but if the assigned home teacher does not make their visit their home teaching assignment has not been fulfilled.

This is great news!  Now I can look at the missionary dinner sign-up calendar when it gets passed around, and if any of my HT families signed up, I can count that as a visit for the month (after confirming the dinner went through as planned).

The issue is whether someone has reached out to communicate, work on a relationship with ward members.  That can be done in many different ways.   Bishops are allowed to have missionaries help vt/ht less active families.

It is also an issue of home teachers fulfilling and reporting their own stewardship.  That is why someone else can not fulfill my or your responsibility.  They can visit and communicate with the family and report that contact but they have not home taught them.  They can not fulfill my or your stewardship for us.

It is the bishop's stewardship first, and he can direct it be reported and carried out any way he sees fit to do.
