“Justice isn’t for men”

No, justice isn’t for men. Only primitive and pathetic revenge. We think as men, we have created forms of justice and thus, are just in our form, but we’re not. With the creation of legal systems and courts and endless confusing laws, we as men stand up so proudly to proclaim how just we are. How great our justice system is. Egotistically proclaiming our evolutional human advancements from the days of lawlessness run a muck. We stand and make complete fools out of ourselves. We don’t proclaim anything but our still deeply rooted primitive ignorance. Justice? No, not even close to justice. We, as men, modern in all our technological advancements and thinking, still only engage in revenge. We just have gotten better at masking our revenge. That’s all we have manage to do to date of so call modern man in all our advancements. Primitive and pathetic revenge indeed.

This is not limited to certain countries or societies around the globe. It is a fact that engulfs men world wide in every region from metropolitan to uncharted native villages. Where there is man, there will always be injustice. Revenge equalizing the unacceptable behaviors we have decided to be. Man can not go in justices. Man can not be found in justice. Not here nor there nor anywhere. Not on this planet called Earth. Not in the beginning of time and not beyond the end of time. Justice is not man and man is not justice. There is no limited reach to this fact. There is also no changing this fact.

Man can not create justice nor become it. It is simply not possible. Never has been possible, never will be. Man is man. Man is revenge upon unacceptable act declared. Nothing more to ever be. That is the fact and reality.

Man lacks the ability to be justified in his actions even in the creation of a legal system or courts or laws. Man has not the wisdom for justice or emotional control to which to apply justice. Man simple doesn’t. Man is still too primitive as he is regardless of what modern advancements he has created.

Man does not have the wisdom to fully understand what justice is. He can decide on what defines justice, but never really understand what justice is. A definition created is not a truth born. Just a distortion to best fit the comforts of thought applied, nothing more. How does man define justice? If you look at different current countries and societies, you will discover that man has come up with countless definitions of justices that don’t match each other or balance out with humanity. Thousands of definitions for the same thought and it doesn’t work. Define the blue sky or the dirty that you stand on. Not as simple when others define it and the definitions are so wide in differences and incompatible with the basic structure of humanity. If anything, man only complicates justices to a point it becomes revenge hidden under false forms as it has always been. Man simply doesn’t have the wisdom to understand what justice really is nor to define justice in a true form.

Man also lacks the emotional ability to self control himself to a point that justice, even in the truest form, could be administered correctly. Man feels more than justice when he seeks justice. He feels anger, hate, a desire to equal acts out with other acts. What is an emotionally control form of true justice by man? No one can truthfully say because no one has ever seen such a thing done. You hear arguments my legal representatives for this or that act to be done for justice, but the truth is, it is really being done for revenge and a false form of justice is being use to cover up the revenge. It has been this way from the birth of man and will be to the death of man. Man has never had the ability to control his emotions to a level of committing a true form of justice.

Without the wisdom or ability for justice, man lacks the authority to administer true justice. Man has no authority without wisdom and control. Man only has revenge hidden under false justice. Man is man and lacks anything but primitive revenge and modern advancements to cover it up under false justice. Sad, but very true and seen over and over in countless examples around the globe over the years of man.

So, if this all is to be to, what then? What do we do to have true justice and not primitive revenge? Other than run like hell from man, I really don’t what to do. I am not sure there is anything to do but run like hell from man. Hmm, perhaps I should stop writing here and start running now.

I am not surprised I gotten an insulting reply to this post. It's the web and so goes the insults. Never the less, there is a point with in this post I was making that you don't seem to have picked up on. Maybe others will. Dim or not.

Hi Lostone.

I disagree with the premise that you present as fact. Maybe you could offer an illustration of how you think the justice system of some developed country is only "primitive and pathetic revenge"? I don't understand the adjectives. Primitive? Not advanced beyond some tribal culture? That would be absurd but that seems to be what you say saying. Pathetic? Pathos is experienced when good people perceive something not right. But you leave me wondering if there is anyone capable of pathos. Then you talk about revenge. You really don't think the justice systems of developed countries prevent those harmed by criminals from acts of vengeance? Victims are excluded from the jury and sentencing process. Why? Because they would tend to be vengeful.

Far be it from me to defend anything modern. It seems like I am always attacking everything modern. But modern systems of justice have wisely developed ways of excluding vengeance from its decision making processes as well as in sentencing. If I understand what you believe, I don't think 1% of any civilized population would agree with you, and the ones who do will probably have been convicted of a crime. If I have misunderstood you, I suspect others will as well. I am afraid rpn's assessment, to which you take exception, will be well represented here unless you can explain yourself in a way that doesn't make you seem completely unappreciative of how much worse life could be without modern legal systems.

I do not understand your reasoning.  How is that an insulting reply?

I wasn't being insulting.  Just pointing out that it discusses humans in an unflattering way (inconsistent with their true nature).

That was an insult? Wow, you must not get out much!

That, LOSTONE, was a disagreement. And a very mild one, at that. Perhaps you need to dial back the sensitivity setting?

That being said, I will say that while your post was loooooonnnng, and I did not read it fully, I understand your point quite well. And you are quite correct in your basic premise. Mortal man may try to be just, and may feebly approach it in some rare cases, but our best efforts are doomed to fall short simply because our "justice" cannot possibly even hold a candle to Father's justice. For one thing, for us to be truly just requires that we be truly righteous. This is impossible for us in our present condition.

I will say this: I do NOT want to be subject to that true justice which is the Father's. I am a guilty man, and my feet are not worthy to tread upon even the porchway leading to Father's dwelling place. Justice, fully served, could do nothing but turn me into a pile of ashes.

That is why I prefer to rely upon the mercy of Christ, whose love and sacrifice places me out of the reach of true justice! If I have fully repented and done His will, then I am saved. And there is no other way.

LOSTONE is stating an obvious fact: humans are incapable of perfect justice. Our best efforts are by virtue of our fallen nature, imperfect.

That being said, we do TRY to get it right, and sometimes our systems at least approach the spirit of true justice. We should get some credit for that, I think.

But, in comparison with the ideal, of course we fall woefully short. LOSTONE is just laying it on thicker than we are normally accustomed to see it.

Your comment was not an insult, it was a sound observation. One thing I have learned over my life is that if you are looking for an insult you will find it, even if we God himself making the reply. I also share your observation about his comment...just wish he could see for himself.
