JeremyOrbe-Smith Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Posted as per request, Juliann. I've been super busy and thus offline lately, but I've been meaning to check out that site ever since it went up - it looks great! And for the record, feel free to pass that index around wherever, let's get those sources to go viral. 3
Yirgacheffe Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 My own personal experience growing up was that I was much more likely to get what I wanted when I asked my father than when I asked my mother. I guess it depends on the couple. With me if I asked my mom it was go ask your dad, then when I asked my dad he said ask your mom, when I said "I did she said to ask you" he said "I'll talk to your mom" and if I ever asked for something while my friends were standing there, it was almost always an automatic "No". Neither parent ever said yes to something of import with out the other one being in on the decision. Growing up parenting was definitely a team sport in my house.
readstoomuch Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Christ set the example of praying to the father and we do so in Christ's name. I ponder on HM's thoughts and desires and pray to her that way. 1

Calm Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 (edited) So you are claiming Jesus never ever thought about Heavenly Mother, what she might be thinking and wanting for her children? How are you able to be so certain that this was so? Edited August 16, 2014 by calmoriah

How are you able to be so certain that this was so?I was not talking about thinking about Heavenly Mother, although I don't imagine there is much to think about, since nothing is revealed about her.I was talking about praying to her in defiance of the commandments and prophetic instruction. Erin, check the mod comment in your previous post.
