ERayR Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 Yeah, I've heard that saying which I have never thought very highly of, not that it isn't true but it just kind of sounds like a smarmy excuse. People weren't living the Bible commandments when the Book of Mormon was presented, but that didn't deter the Lord from presenting the Book of Mormon. Its kind of like the millenium syndrome where things get put off to the millenium because they would be economically or socially disruptive to try and do it now. I sometimes think that our affinity for apocalyptic catastrophe films is because we have kind of a yearning for someone to push the reset button so we wouldn't have any reason to feel awkward about changing society.I think is probably meant to be a gentle or not so gentle rebuke. 1

Requires quite a bit of travel, so I am slow to consider.I suppose I would post more.. but there hasn't been much in the way of EV sort of stuff going on. From my snipets of viewing the forum seems you LDS are working on a number of "in house" issues.
