Hadn't thought about it until you mentioned it.Another one (too old to be in these links) was the "joint stock company" issue in England, where the mission presidency embezzled money. One of them, Reuben Hedlock, did the engravings of the facsimiles. Another one cooperated with the Church authorities and was disfellowshipped, but died very soon after his discipline, heartbroken.If memory serves, Hedlock disappeared, and no one knows what became of him after this.
Tacenda Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 (edited) I read the page on Sidney Rigdon. I had no idea the guy who was second in charge was looked at with so much disdain. Didn't read the whole thing though. What is the problem? Was it because he left the church and started a new one or because Joseph wanted to marry his daughter? Or both?
