Favorite Pastime

I've been questioning whether I should even have a "trivial goal" list, but trying to beat this game on one credit is on my trivial goal list.

What are your trivial goals / favorite pastimes?

My favorite pastime used to be my garden, but physical limitations have all but eliminated that... at least the major work. Now I have a landscaping service to help.

My other favorite pastime is my artwork... and it leads to my goal, which isn't that trivial. My goal is to renew my greeting card company (Studio H), but this time featuring my own paintings/drawings. I'm using Bob, my beautiful white/with black patches 20-lb cat, as my model. I'm putting together at least four designs featuring Bob in his activities that will become a boxed set. What I'd like to do is offer them online.

Just to show how technology has changed things for people like me, when I first started thinking about expanding my business (seven gift shops on the coast carried my cards), I was somewhat put off by the process of getting sales reps in various cities/states to handle my cards. Now, the internet has changed things immensely. So I'm seriously considering jumping in... I know I could do well because cat/dog cards sell well.

So that's what I'm doing in my spare time...

from the beach on the 5th staight day of sunshine... after a long wet winter and early spring, this makes my spirit soar!!

GG

If it wasn't for those pesky bills and mortgages, and of course the fact that my lovely spouse inexplicably likes me around, I'd shoulder a backpack every Monday morning, spend the week in God's creation, and arrive home on Saturday just in time to unpack and clean up for the Sabbath.

When the snow started to fall, I'd add snowshoes and a better tent to my pack.

Living next door to Yellowstone for most of my life, it's made it very easy to spend a lot of time hiking in the mountains. I don't do the mountains in the winter though. That is a foreign country i have no interest in. :D

Log,

Video games sure have come a long way. I remember when this was the most technologicaly advanced game:

Pretty awesome graphics for 1982.

I remember those days too!

As for the hikers / campers and whatnots - I'm jelly. I wish I had the cash to do that! Much better than games.
