I can corroborate much of what PPrey says from the evidence presented at the trial of Warren and 10 of his followers. 9 of them were found guilty of sexual assault of a child and the other one was found guilty of performing a marriage of his 12 year old daughter to Warren Jeffs.To find out about the lawlessness of Colorado City/Hildale you only need to google Genevieve Stubbs and see how she was treated while on her own property. Also check out Ron and Jinger Cook.The unlimited funds is pretty self-evident too. If there weren't unlimited funds, why would they be spending $10,000 a pop for ads in the major national US papers (Washington Post and NY Times to name a couple) and also be sending out mass mailing (unsolicited) to thousands upon thousands of people. For a while their legal bills alone were amounting to 500,000 a month. Not sure of the current figure but they still have massive amounts of litigation which is ongoing.So you can check it out for yourself, Warren Jeffs dictations are online. That does not, however, justify Brower's blanket bigotry against the FLDS people as a whole.Brower may very well be justified in his contempt for Warren Jeffs.Unfortunately, he didn't reserve his vitriol for Jeffs- but decided to smear an entire community instead.Just for a moment, substitute "black" or "Jew" for "FLDS" in Brower's screed above- and tell me whether it still passes muster.To find out about the lawlessness of Colorado City/Hildale you only need to google Genevieve Stubbs and see how she was treated while on her own property. You are committing an error in logic (a circular argument). The fact that they are spending a great deal of money does not automagically support the idea that they have "unlimited funds."The current Federal administration is spending money faster than China can print it for them- but that doesn't mean the supply is unlimited.In point of fact, when you and Brower say "self-evident" what you really mean is, "We don't like the FLDS, but we're too lazy to search out and provide the real numbers."
