zerinus Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 My Testimony by Anna JonesI read this conversion story several years ago, and had forgotten the URL and the name of the author. Today I decided to search for it to see if I could find it again, and sure enough I did. I don't know how many people here are familiar with it; but those who aren't should find it very interesting.
Senator Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 The Social Hall would probably be a better place for this.

Storm Rider Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 What a beautiful testimony. It never ceases to amaze me how converts are first converted fully to Christ and then the Church. Yet, we have those who fall away from the Church of Jesus Christ and say we don't teach Christ Jesus. What were they listening to as a member? Did they ever go to Church and actually listen? Regardless, IF they have found Jesus outside the Church, I am happy for them.
Peppermint Patty Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Thank you, Zerinus. Beautiful story.

KevinG Posted November 29, 2011 Posted November 29, 2011 This Sunday I listened to the story of a Southern Baptist convert to the LDS Church who struggled mightily with what she had learned about the Mormons. She was finally convinced to investigate more fully due to the Mormons actions matching their words more closely than her own co-religionists. She was converted by the Holy Ghost after investigating. To me it was a powerful lesson in the need to be an example of what we profess. 1
