My Testimony by Anna Jones

I read this conversion story several years ago, and had forgotten the URL and the name of the author. Today I decided to search for it to see if I could find it again, and sure enough I did. I don't know how many people here are familiar with it; but those who aren't should find it very interesting.

The Social Hall would probably be a better place for this.

The best place for it is right here, where more people are likely to read it and comment on it.

What a beautiful testimony. It never ceases to amaze me how converts are first converted fully to Christ and then the Church. Yet, we have those who fall away from the Church of Jesus Christ and say we don't teach Christ Jesus. What were they listening to as a member? Did they ever go to Church and actually listen? Regardless, IF they have found Jesus outside the Church, I am happy for them.

They attended the foyer class.

This Sunday I listened to the story of a Southern Baptist convert to the LDS Church who struggled mightily with what she had learned about the Mormons.

She was finally convinced to investigate more fully due to the Mormons actions matching their words more closely than her own co-religionists. She was converted by the Holy Ghost after investigating.

To me it was a powerful lesson in the need to be an example of what we profess.
