Calm Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Three of my college roommates were from there, I fell in love with Canada through knowing them. Got to know several more families from the area when I lived in Calgary. Good people, seems like a wonderful small town. What a heartbreak.
ERayR Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 One of my most respected friends, Patriarch Asplund, was from Lethbridge.
sjdawg Posted October 17, 2011 Author Posted October 17, 2011 None of the names are familiar to me but in such a small town the effect will be enormous. It is always a tragedy when we lose promising young people.
Duncan Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Have they released the names?http://www.calgaryhe...8921/story.htmlyes-what a tragedy, My Bishop is from Magrath, I emailed him about it but haven't heard back yet if he knows anyone

Bill “Papa” Lee Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Four LDS youth killed in auto accidenthttp://www.cbc.ca/ne...eens-crash.htmlIt is just not right for a parent to bury a child, it should always be the other way around.
Matthew J. Tandy Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 It is just not right for a parent to bury a child, it should always be the other way around.Mary buried her beloved son Jesus. It's never easy, but if she can do it with the greatest son who ever lived, I think we all can do so if we are called upon by the situation.
