rodheadlee Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 I have a hard time keeping my temper in check. It used to be legendary, I've been doing ok but something has come up where I need to be Christ like in my business dealings no matter the financial consequences. Thanks
Garden Girl Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 Good morning Rod...At least you recognize you need to do better at controlling your actions. Prayer, as you know, is the best way, i.e., staying close to the Lord, striving to have a Christlike attitude. Not always easy... but worth striving for...I hope this finds you and Patti doing well, that her health continues to improve. Prayers.from the beach on a lovely sunny morning as I look forward to a "pioneer picnic" this afternoon with lots of food, games, and good friends of my ward family...GG
ERayR Posted July 23, 2011 Posted July 23, 2011 I kmow what you mean. I have had the same problem in the distant past and thought I had mastered it but had to use extreme effort to get around some issues during my wifes recent hospital stay and current rehab stay. I did really well though, kept everything on an even keel.If I can so can you. As has been said prayer helps gretly as does remembering you are Christs desciple.Best wishes.
emeliza Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 I hate when I have temper problems. Praying helps a lot. That is what we tell the girls to do. I will definitely keep you in my prayers.
rodheadlee Posted July 24, 2011 Author Posted July 24, 2011 Thanks, I had a calming moment about the whole situation. I'm good to go. Thanks for your prayers.
katherine the great Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 I have a hard time keeping my temper in check. It used to be legendary, I've been doing ok but something has come up where I need to be Christ like in my business dealings no matter the financial consequences.ThanksMy husband has a bad temper too Rod. Other than that, he is a fabulous man--the best one i know. Just keep in mind (while you are working on it) that having a bad temper does not by any means make you unlovable but once something is out of your mouth, you can't take it back. Good luck!
