Since Echo ignored my posts over at the other thread,

This is a blatant lie. I explained in the other thread why I can't respond to everything everyone posts.

If you addressed the client-patron relationship, I sure never saw it. I don't know what definition of "ignore" you are using.

If you provide a post in which you addressed it, I will take it back. Otherwise, my statement stands and it is you who has lied.

Truth is always called for.

Well how about this for truth. I've already reported your off topic isults and if you keep it up I'm going to ask the mods that you be banned from this topic altogher. You have hijacked my thread and despite my efforts to get it back on track you continue to engage in off topic "conversation".

It isn't loving to let others be decieved by what is going on here. Jesus said alot of things that we might consider "uncalled for" but he did it out of love for people who might be misled by the teaching and yeast of the pharisees. Study the gospels to understand why this is needed.

Jesus is sinless. Your not.

There is a big difference between "ignoring" and "not reponding" to everything everyone asks because of time constraints, I am one person posting a response while 5 or 6 or more LDS responses come in during the time it takes me to respond to one person. That makes it impossible to answer everyone. Although I try to cover as much as I can. I posted this reason in that thread. Besides, I don't recall your post at all, perhaps you posted it before I began posting back, perhaps your question was addressed to someone else, I can't recall it at all.

I am going on holidays tommorow, if you want to give me the post #'s of those things you want a response to, I will attempt to do that when I get back but I will only be posting once a week once I get back on my day off and there will be no way that I can respond to everyone for that reason. So please don't say I am ignoring anything because it isn't true.

I understand not being able to hit everyone's posts, but you did not so much as mention it and it goes to the heart of the topic. You never touched it in any way, shape, or form. You ignored it completely. "Not responding" or not even recognizing what had been posted is in fact ignoring. And instead of actually addressing it here, you tried to justify yourself in not addressing it originally.

Good job.

It is impossible for folks like Vance, Zakuska, Mola sam ruda sam etc. They are the ones who think people are some kind of lower species as is evidenced by their disrespectful, pridefilled, overbearing, abusive, mocking responses towards others who disagree with them. That is my whole point. They are the unrepentant ones who look down their Oh so holy noses at others just because others disagree with them. They are the ones that make all religion repulsive.

It is impossible for Vance, Zak, and Me to have a respectful dialogue? Hmmmm. I demand that you show me were I have been disrespectful. I demand that you hold your toungue. It is impossible for you to know the state of my heart and weather or not I am " unrepentant". Are you sure you want to judge me the way you have? Were have I looked down on your with my "oh so holy nose"? Oh you mean when I stood up for myself when you called me a goat??

Edited :to add an infinate Echo of respect.

I wouldn't have it any other way.

Echo: Leave the thread or you'll be suspended.

Now E has the time to respond over in the other thread, :P (and likely would have had it from the start save for succumbing to the temptation to post thirty five times on this thread instead of on the other if time really was the sole reason).

At this very moment, between you and I, who do you think has more credibility when we say "I love the LDS people" and why?

Thank you for your posts we may not agree on everything but you at least are making an effort to communicate and not just call names. :P

You certainly have more credibility than echo!

Now, after that little adventure, how do we get back to where we were?

And, where were we?

I think the discussion was turning to what types of works are told to do...I think

Did we talk about Baptism? Do you want to talk about Baptism?

no we did not, and sure. I'm up for having a discussion on the subject.

I submit that Baptism is a requirement for entrance into the kingdom of God.

As support for this position I provide these verses with this explanation.

Jesus said a person must be born of water and of the Spirit (John 3: 3-5). When he sent the twelve apostles forth to teach the gospel he told them that whosoever believed and was baptized would be saved; and whosoever did not believe would be damned (Mark 16:16). Jesus himself was baptized

Why would it be a requirement? I ask because from time to time I hear "we're baptized so our sins can be forgiven", but really--does the act of baptism forgive our sins or does God?
