How Wide The Gap

I believe that some things are wrong (such as BS-ing people).

So, ummm,.... , do you thing that "Paul Ray" or "Son" know the vibratory rate of gold?

Heck if I know. :P

Yes, exactly. I think a lack of interest is the reason for the lack of speaking up.

I disagree I have a lot of interest I believe in every single one of these and others too. Angels and winged angels and winged angels with halos and winged angels with halos and red ruby slippers and... (TIC)

Why should I have to pay when I already know how to answer. It is you who claim to know the rate and then immediately refuse to give the rate.

Wrong.

Here is me, now, trying to clarify things for you a little bit better:

I never said I know the (vibration) rate of gold.

You asked me if I can know, and I can.

Go back and read our actual words to each other.

Are you often misled by your own thoughts about things???

Yes it is and you know it and so does essentially everyone reading this (they just don't want to bother with it).

Heh, what makes you think essentially everyone reading this thread sees things the way you do?

Even if essentially everyone did see things the same way that you do, that wouldn't necessarily mean they all didn't need to get their vision corrected to see better.

PS, are you and "Son" one and the same person?

Yes we are one on some issues but no we are not the same person, and we never ever will be. :P

What about angels with tiaras? Do you believe in those?

How much for a MorningStar sundae???

... and if you're not selling, can you give me the recipe?

:P

I put the recipe on my blog. Look for "Death By Chocolate". <_<

Tarski, do you feel that everything has to have a rational explanation? Have you no spiritual side as well?

Just for the record... and yes, I do know that you didn't ask me... I believe everything does have a rational explanation.

I believe God is a very rational person/being. :P

Where did I ask if you can know?

By the way....you can't know the vibratory rate since (can you guess?)

This would be on a mortal scale, how close to the truth is ?

Would you ever accept a spiritual/metaphysical explanation as rational? It seems to be that just by accepting the existance of God, one has taken a leap of faith into that realm.

Yes. And I often do.

It seems to be that just by accepting the existance of God, one has taken a leap of faith into that realm.

I think it's perfectly rational to accept an assurance from God when God gives an assurance about something God knows.

I believe God knows everything that there is to be known, so why wouldn't someone accept God's assurance?

There is nothing irrational about living by faith, as long as the faith (or assurance) has come from God.

Ummm, just tell me the vibratory rate of gold. If you can't then I am justified in saying you don't know.

Transient reflectivity dynamics of the

gold-shell array measured at a 950 and b 700 nm. Black solid

lines depict experimental data, red dotted lines show the fits. Inset

shows the signal measured at 700 nm plotted including the entire

electronic contribution.

This is about as close as man has gotten to a measurement of the vibrational rate. Again it is measured according to the presets of someone that is looking from a secular pov.

Yeah, well, I know someone who knows the exact vibration rate... and can actually create the gold.

That is a pretty good measurement, though. Well done, Son. :P

We know the same One then. :P

I hope we will all know the exact rate of everything one day, and be able to create "worlds without end".

I think the key will be in being able to know the truth when we see it, or feel it.

Are you sure? Are you really sure?

But I also notice that no LDS step in to contradict any of these statements.

I get the same feeling from Her Amun's various Egyptology threads. No matter how comically ridiculous his "parallels" are, I don't think I've ever seen a faithful LDS call BS. It's always "very interesting Her Amun--you might be on to something there." It seems to me apologists would gain a little credibility (or at least demonstrate intellectual honesty) if they pointed out bad arguments coming from one of their less capable, if enthusiastic, colleagues. In the same vein, pointing out superstitious credulity among members might help dispell the general impression of Mormons as credulous and superstitious.

I've been quick and quiet about suppressing faith-promoting myths in the church, such as the Boyd K. Packer "quote" from a thread this week.

Who here really feels qualified to show another person what is true and what isn't true?

Okay, now, who really IS qualified to show another person what is true and what isn't true?

... to the point where another person can no longer dispute what you're telling him/her?

I think we can only share our personal opinions/beliefs/assurances about things with other people.

... and I don't think we can do anything to compel someone else to believe us about anything.

I do think we can pay the price to know everything for ourselves from the one(s) who know, though. :P

You see those little squares right before the 950 and before the 700?

That means your cut and paste didn't work out so well. :P

Too bad you don't understand what you are looking at here. If you did you would realize that this cut and paste from the paper of D. A. Mazurenko et. al. is not an appropriate response to the question.

You said each element has a certain vibratory rate. If so, the answer should be in cycles per second. It should also be a kind of vibration that can apply to every element and in every phase.

But this paper only applies to certain spherical shell configurations of atoms of one type and is about acoustic-optical coupling. This is not something that could ever apply to an element as such (try hydrogen or calcium).

This paper treats something very far from being a fundamental fact about gold as an element.

You said that each element has a certain vibratory rate but in fact this is far from true since there are an infinite number of modes of excitation of any given "isolated" atom of an element. When the atom is subject to a potential is can vibrate at a frequency that also depends on the nature of the potential.

So there is no single unique vibratory rate associated to gold.

Quit trying to BS us.

Tarski -- I'm with you - I have really noticed the mystical woo-woo is getting more thick than usual.

now the question is why ??

left to my understanding alone I can only guess the standard LDS apologetic drum is getting boring - the tribe needs to mix it up every once in a while. The magic/mystic/occult is simply the rythum in the background of the drum

BOOM - the BOM is true

BOOM- the papyri were a catalyst

BOOMchickaBOOM- I want my own seer stone

BOOM-chicka-rocka-chicka-rocka-chicka BOOM-- you ceate your reality with only your thoughts and intentions and so on. together is is quite a racket.

BOOM - the LGT it the true theory

and so-on

I can see into the future and your life on this board will be short. :P

Then just take Ecstacy (MDMA) :P .

(Truth matters too).

Come on now.

You said things just ARE vibrations. So what is it that vibrates at bottom?

Truth matters only in as much as it leads to happiness. Without the drive for a better life (i.e. greater happiness) we wouldn't care one wit about "truth."

Agree or disagree? Why?

Heh-heh... as another critic steps in to say amen Tarski!!! And the rest remain silent... :P
